The Gaylypics is a weekend away at the Windpomp Male Guest Resort in Hamanskraal, which is 15 minutes outside of Pretoria.
The weekend is focused on Gay men socializing and having a good time.
On Friday, guests can arrive from 10 am and enjoy the pool, heated pool, or jacuzzi and explore.
We will host a bring and braai on Friday night to get to know everyone and kick start the weekend. It will be festive with music and fires going. People can socialize, and there will also be fun in the hot pool or wherever it leads you.
On Saturday, we host the games. It’s fun team games that are designed for enjoyment and just having a good time. The relaxing, tanning, and swimming will continue. On Saturday evening we host a themed party where we hand out prizes, have our closing ceremony and dance dance dance.
You can come through on Saturday as a Day Visitor for a charge of R250 or book a room, chalet, or even camp in the well equipped campsite. If you don’t have camping gear, we have a rent a tent option available for you. The campsite has incredible abultion facilities with warm water and showers and makes a great spot for cruising 😈
Accommodation is self-catering with chalets and rooms equipped with a fridge and mini kitchenette. You can buy ready-made meals from the bar to heat up as needed. Bring your own booze for the weekend. You can’t consume your own alcohol at the bar and jacuzzi area, BUT you can buy drinks from their fully stocked bar to enjoy in those spaces.
Bedding and towels are provided for guests staying in the rooms or chalets. Camping requires you to bring your own. The rent a tent option includes a 2 sleeper tent and 2 mattresses.
Rooms and Chalet vary in price range starting from R2,000 for the weekend (that’s for 2 people).
