The workshop explores:

  • Understanding your personal risk profile.
  • Assessing physical, emotional, psychological, social, and legal risks.
  • Recognising how experience and bias influence risk perception.
  • Communicating boundaries and negotiating with partners.
  • Making informed, consensual decisions regardless of experience level.

Event Details

  • Day: Every Thursday
  • Time: 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Workshop starts at 7:30 pm)
  • Venue: Casa Kink Dungeon, 4 Engine Avenue, Montague Gardens
  • Entry Fee: R120 (payable at the door)

What to Bring

  • Drinks and snacks (none available for purchase)
  • Personal toys, condoms, and lubricant if planning to play
  • Curiosity, respect for consent, and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable clothing that makes you feel confident

What’s Included

  • 5 hours’ access to the dungeon play space.
  • Use of kink furniture and selected impact/sensation equipment.
  • An educational session each week.
  • Opportunities to socialise, meet new people, negotiate future play, and connect with the community.

Event Environment

  • Adult-only (18+) event.
  • Nudity, BDSM, fetish activities, and sexual play are permitted but participation is optional.
  • A designated play-free social area is available, although nudity may still be present.

Safety & Consent

  • Consent and personal boundaries are strictly enforced.
  • The event follows the PRICK (Personal Responsibility in Consensual Kink) framework.
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Consent Monitors will be present throughout the event.

Conduct & Policies

  • Bring your own toys (limited equipment is provided).
  • Zero tolerance for disruptive intoxication.
  • Smoking tobacco and cannabis is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
  • No refunds for removal due to intoxicated or disruptive behaviour.
