Description

Impact Jam: Paddles and Bats

About

Impact play is one of the most primal and connective forms of kink—rhythm, breath, anticipation, sensation, trust. The Impact Jam Series is a space to explore this in community, building skill, awareness, and empathy over time.

Each session rotates focus areas (such as floggers, paddles, canes, and creative implements), offering opportunities to deepen technique, negotiation skills, body awareness, and aftercare practices. Every jam spotlights a specific style while still allowing space for open exploration.

This Month: Paddles & Bats

Impact play is about far more than simply hitting harder.

This interactive Impact Jam focuses on paddles, bats, and other broad-surface impact tools, exploring:

  • Technique and accuracy
  • Body placement and targeting
  • Intensity control and pacing
  • Communication between partners
  • Safety considerations

Whether you’re new to impact play or refining your existing practice, this is an opportunity to learn, experiment, share knowledge, and discover the unique sensations different implements can offer.

Participation Style

You do not need to arrive with a partner.

In fact, those who primarily identify as Tops are actively encouraged to spend time receiving as well as giving. Experiencing impact in your own body can deepen empathy, refine technique, and improve attunement to a partner’s experience.

Skill grows faster when understanding flows both ways.

What to Expect

  • A consent-forward container
  • Guided foundational instruction for the focus style
  • Space to negotiate and practice
  • Peer learning and community support
  • Open jam time to integrate what you’ve explored

Bring comfortable clothing, curiosity, and a willingness to communicate. This jam is about building embodied understanding—one strike, one breath, one conversation at a time.
